Chapter 2 - Installing the ViewStation FX/VS4000
Cameras Supported by Polycom
The ViewStation FX and VS4000 are compatible with many auxiliary
S-video or composite cameras. While there are many options
available on the market, Polycom has tested and fully supports the
following pan/tilt/zoom auxiliary cameras: Sony EVI-D30 (NTSC),
Sony EVI-D31 (PAL), Sony EVI-D100 (NTSC) and the Sony
EVI-D100P (PAL). Support for the Sony EVI-D100 and Sony
EVI-D100P was introduced with release 4.2.

Note
All supported camera models can be controlled with the remote
control that is shipped with the ViewStation FX or VS4000.
Polycom Wide-Angle Conversion Lens
This lens adaptor attaches to the front of the Sony EVI-D30 (NTSC)
or the Sony EVI-D31 (PAL) cameras to increase the field of view
from 48 degrees to 62.5 degrees Note that this lens is not compatible
with any other camera models. You can purchase a Polycom Wide
Angle Conversion Lens from your distributor or from the Polycom
Store at www.polycom.com.
Caution
Attaching a third-party vendor wide-angle lens will cause damage
that is not covered by your product warranty. Third-party lenses
