DK11ASST Air heater set of M-inserter upper deck
Lv.1 Details Setting the condition (media, environment) to turn ON the floatation
air heater in the upper deck of the multi insertion unit.
When switching media from non-coated paper to coated paper,
pickup is not be started until the floatation air heater reaches the
specified temperature. To shorten wait time, specify the setting that
is not dependent on media.
If the use environment is close to the threshold for turning ON/OFF,
wait time gets longer because of frequent switch. To shorten wait
time, specify the mode always to be ON.
Use case Upon request to shorten the wait time.
Adj/set/operate method 1) Enter the setting value, and then press OK key.
2) Turn OFF and then ON the main power supply.
Caution • In the case to specify the mode that is not dependent on media, be
sure to inform the user about the possibility of drop in transferring
performance of non-coated paper and get an approval of the user
before executing this mode.
• In the case to always turn ON, be sure to inform the user about the
possibility of drop in transferring performance under low humidity
environment and get an approval of the user before executing this
mode.
Display/adj/set range 0 to 2
0: Dependent on media and environment condition
1: Dependent on environment condition (no dependence on media)
2: Always turning ON the air heater (no dependence on environment
and media)
