• Operation of external trigger
The counter is started when the effective edge (rising edge, falling edge, or both edges) is input to the
TIN0/1 pin. Figure 10.15 shows the operation of the external trigger in the one-shot mode.

Note: The width of the trigger pulse input must be the TIN pin to 2/φ or more.
• Operation of gate input
Counting is performed while the effective level (H or L level) is input to the TIN pin. Figure 10.16 shows
the gate input operation in the one-shot mode.
