The UART has a circuit with to conforms to EI
receive interrupts and transmit interrupts.
• At reception:

OS can be used irrespective of the state of other resources.
• At transmission:
Since the interrupt control registers (ICR13 and ICR14) are shared with receive interrupts of UART, EI
can be started only when UART receive interrupts are not used.
