Installing a C4710E basestation in an external housing with an
external antenna
Install a C4710E basestation in an external housing with an external
antenna.

Action
Unpack the C4710E basestation.
Open the cabinet of the basestation:
•
Remove the two screws at the rear side of the cabinet.
•
Separate the cover and the rear side from each other.
•
The cabinet is held shut by four click parts, two on each long
side of the cabinet. If necessary, use a small screwdriver to
carefully open the click parts one at a time.
Drill two holes (10 mm in diameter) in the rear side of the
cabinet.
Connect the antenna cables to the connectors on the printed
circuit board. Secure the nuts with an SMA Torque Wrench.
