Warning
Grounding an HSU external antenna
External antennas should be individually grounded using a suitable Grounding Kit such as an
Andrew Type 223158‐2 (http://www.commscope.com). The same considerations as for the
HBS antennas apply here.
Grounding the HSU
All HSUs have a grounding lug as shown in Figure
wire. Grounding is often carried out in conjunction with lightning protection.

Installing a PoE device
The same considerations as for an HBS hold for the HSUs.
