Flexible Assignment of Ports to LAGs
Assignment of interfaces to dynamic LAGs is based upon a maximum of 144
interfaces assigned to dynamic LAGs, a maximum of 128 dynamic LAGs and
a maximum of 8 interfaces per dynamic LAG. For example, 128 LAGs may be
assigned 2 interfaces each or 18 LAGs may be assigned 8 interfaces each.
NOTE: The N1100-ON/N1500 Series switches support 64 port channels.

Use the channel-group command in Interface (Ethernet) Configuration
mode to associate a port with a port channel. To remove the channel-group
configuration from the interface, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
channel-group port-channel-number mode {on | active}
no channel-group

port-channel-number — Number of a valid port-channel with which to
associate the current interface.

on — Forces the port to join a channel without LACP (static LAG).
•
active — Forces the port to join a channel with LACP (dynamic LAG).
