Example
The following example configures the external path cost to be 8192 for
VLANs 12, 13, 24, 25, and 26.
console(config-if-Gi1/0/1)#spanning-tree vlan 12,13,24-26 cost 8192

spanning-tree disable

Use the spanning-tree disable command in Interface Configuration mode to
disable spanning-tree on a specific port. To enable spanning-tree on a port,
use the no form of this command.
Syntax
spanning-tree disable
no spanning-tree disable
Default Configuration
By default, all ports are enabled for spanning-tree.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (gigabitethernet, port-channel, tengigabitethernet,
fortygigabitethernet) mode
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example disables spanning-tree on Gi1/0/5.
console(config)#interface gigabitethernet 1/0/5
console(config-if-Gi1/0/5)#spanning-tree disable
spanning-tree forward-time
Use the spanning-tree forward-time command in Global Configuration
mode to configure the spanning-tree bridge forward time, which is the
amount of time a port remains in the listening and learning states before
entering the forwarding state.
