1) Remove the 3 screws [1], and slide the original size
detection unit [2].

2) Disconnect the connector [1], and detach the
original size sensor unit [2].

5.4.6.4 Removing the CCD
Unit
1) Remove the 3 screws [1]], and detach the original
size detection unit [2].

2) Disconnect the 2 flat cables [1] from the reader
controller PCB; then, remove the 2 screws [2], detach
the 2 leaf springs [3], and detach the CCD unit [4].

5.4.6.5 After Replacing the
CCD Unit
If you have replaced the CCD unit, be sure to enter the
settings indicated on the label attached to the CCD
unit:
COPIER>ADJUST>CCD>CCDU RG
(to enter the correction value for CCD dependent RG
color displacement in sub scanning direction)
