spanning-tree port-priority

Use the spanning-tree port-priority command in Interface Configuration
mode to configure port priority. To reset the default port priority, use the no
form of this command.
Syntax
priority
spanning-tree port-priority
no spanning-tree port-priority
priority — The port priority. (Range: 0–240)
Default Configuration
The default port-priority for IEEE STP is 128. The default port-priority for a
LAG (port-channel) is 96.

User Guidelines
The priority value must be a multiple of 16.
Example
The following example configures the spanning priority on 1/0/5 to 96.
console(config)#interface gigabitethernet 1/0/5
console(config-if-1/0/5)#spanning-tree port-priority 96

spanning-tree priority

Use the spanning-tree priority command in Global Configuration mode to
configure the spanning-tree priority. The priority value is used to determine
which bridge is elected as the root bridge. To reset the default spanning-tree
priority use the no form of this command.
