igmp group-limit

Syntax
igmp group-limit limit
undo igmp group-limit

Interface view
Parameter
limit: Quantity of multicast groups, in the range of 0 to 512.
Description
Use the igmp group-limit command to limit multicast groups to be added on an
interface. After the limit is reached, the router does not process IGMP join
messages.
Use the undo igmp group-limit command to restore the default setting.
By default, the maximum number is 512.
The new configuration overwrites the old one if you run the command for a
second time.
Example
# Limit the maximum number of IGMP groups to be added on Vlan-interface10 to
100.
<SW8800> system-view

[SW8800]interface vlan-interface 10
[3Com-Vlan-interface10] igmp group-limit 100

Syntax
igmp group-policy acl-number
undo igmp group-policy

Parameter
acl-number: Number of basic ACL, in the range of 2,000 to 2,999.
