peer ebgp-max-hop

Syntax
peer group-name ebgp-max-hop [ ttl ]
undo peer group-name ebgp-max-hop

Parameter
group-name: Name of a neighbor peer group, consisting of 1 to 47 alphanumeric
characters.
peer-address: Peer IP address.
ttl: Maximum hops, in the rang of 1 to 255 and is 64 by default.
Description
Use the peer ebgp-max-hop command to establish an EBGP connection with a
specified neighbor which is attached to the network indirectly.
Use the undo peer ebgp-max-hop command to restore the default setting.
By default, you can only make a connection with a direct accessing EBGP
neighbor.
Example
# Enable the router to connect the EBGP peer group test that is attached to the
network indirectly.
[3Com-bgp] ipv4-family vpn-instance test
[3Com-bgp-af-vpn-instance] peer test ebgp-max-hop

peer enable

Syntax
peer group-name enable
undo peer group-name enable

Parameter
group-name: Name of a neighbor peer group, consisting of 1 to 47 alphanumeric
characters.
Description
Use the peer enable command to enable a specified peer group.
Use the undo peer enable command to disable a specified peer group.
For IPv4 address family, address switching is enabled by default.
