Restart the device to validate the upgraded Boot ROM.
To install a hot-swapping-supporting card you can directly insert it into a slot.
Follow these steps to remove a hot-swapping-supporting card when it is running.
To do...
Remove a specified card
This command is supported only on MSR 50 series routers.
CAUTION:
You can use this command only to remove a hot-swapping supporting card.
■
For other cards, you must insert or remove them when a device is powered off.
This command may cause a card unusable, thus resulting in service
■
interruption. Use it with caution.
Use the remove slot command to remove a card before hot swapping it;
■
otherwise the device or the card may be broken.
You can enable the temperature alarm function for a card. In this case, when the
temperature of a card is higher than the upper threshold or lower than the lower
threshold, the system will notify you through the information center for you to
timely deal with the problems.
