The system integrates the QoS services on FR PVC into the FR class, which provides
a set of flexible and complete solutions for FR traffic control and service quality.
When configuring FR traffic shaping and other QoS services, a FR class should be
first created, on which various QoS parameters are then configured. Thus, an FR
class equals to a set of solutions for QoS network services. Then, the FR class is
associated with a FR PVC, which equals to applying a set of QoS service solutions
to FR PVC. For different PVCs, both different FR classes and the same FR class can
be applied.
When a Frame Relay PVC implements QoS, it will search for the corresponding
Frame Relay class in the following sequence:
1 Use the Frame Relay class associated with the Frame Relay PVC.
2 Use the Frame Relay class of the Frame Relay main interface to which the Frame
Relay PVC belongs.
