Configuration prerequisites
Complete the required basic H.323 gateway configurations except for the ras-on
command. (The ras-on command is used for initiating registration requests to the
gatekeeper after all configurations are completed.)

Follow these steps to configure a registration password:

To let the gateway pass call tokens from the gatekeeper, you need to configure
security calling.
After a call is originated, the calling gateway obtains a call token from the calling
gatekeeper and transparently transmits it to the called gateway which will then
pass the token to the called gatekeeper. Tokens can be synchronized among
gatekeepers. Only after the called gatekeeper accepts the token can it return the
call accept message to the called gateway.
