Converting software duplication link to a DAL1 link on an S8720 Media Server
Replacing the cover on the server
To replace the cover on the server:
1. Place the top cover on the media server so that the front alignment tabs are in place (refer
to Figure 105: Remove the cover from the server
2. Push the locking lever down.
The cover slides forward and locks into place.
Replacing the server in the rack

The Avaya S8720 Media Server weighs 20-27kg (47-60 pounds). Do not replace

the server in the rack by yourself.
To replace the server in the rack:
1. Ensure that the rails are extended and locked into place as shown in
1230 Upgrading, Migrating, and Converting Media Servers and Gateways
on page 1226.
