2. Configure Aggregate Addresses
Classless interdomain routing (CIDR) enables you to create aggregate routes (or supernets) to
minimize the size of routing tables. You can configure aggregate routes in BGP either by redistributing
an aggregate route into BGP or by using the conditional aggregation feature described in the following
task table. An aggregate address will be added to the BGP table if there is at least one more specific
entry in the BGP table.
To create an aggregate address in the routing table, use one or more of the following commands in
router configuration mode:
aggregate network/len
aggregate network/len summary-only
aggregate network/len config-route-map map-name
