CRU Description
Battery Cold-serviceable
3V Lithium Coin Cell Battery that powers the CMOS BIOS and
real-time clock located in SMODs.
Memory Warm-serviceable
(DIMMs)
Add or replace RDIMM or LRDIMM memory modules located in
CMODs.
Storage drives Hot-serviceable
Storage drive configurations can comprise both hard disk drives
(HDDs) or solid state disk drives (SSDs).
Fan modules Hot-serviceable
(FM0-7)
Eight fan modules for cooling the server components.
PCIe cards Hot-serviceable
Optional add-in cards that can expand the functionality of the
server.

is a field replaceable unit (FRU) and should only be serviced by
authorized Oracle Service personnel.
Dual PCIe Hot-serviceable
card carriers

Four fully redundant AC-powered power supplies.
