Diagnosis
1. Check air jet pressure and
angle adjustment.
2. Check vacuum setting and
that all the holes on the pad
are covered.
3. Check for defective or old
label supplies that are
curling.
1. Check vacuum pressure.
2. Clean any debris on the
tamp pad surface.
3. Check for a worn tamp pad.
Solution
1. Adjust air jet regulator
clockwise and position the
air jet to blow onto the first
1/3 of the label. If no air jet
stream, check the valve air
input and 24V to valve. If
still no air jet stream, check
the connector.
2. Adjust vacuum valve
clockwise. Check for
obstruction in the vacuum
holes. Check for clogged
vacuum carb.
3. Order new labels from
Printronix.
1. Lower vacuum pressure
and turning the VACUUM
control valve
counterclockwise.
2. Clean the tamp pad
surface.
3. Replace worn tamp pad
assembly.
