Explanation
The printer finished loading the
program into flash memory and
is automatically resetting itself.
Normal download initialization
message.
Error Handling = Overstrike in
the RFID CONTROL menu, and
the Label Retry count has been
exhausted.
RFID error: communication
cannot be established with the
RFID encoder. Reader will be
set to Disable in the RFID
CONTROL menu and the
previous port settings restored.
Error Handling = Stop in the
RFID CONTROL menu, and the
RFID encoder could not read
the RFID tag.
1. The ribbon is broken
between the ribbon take-up
spindle and the printhead.
2. If the ribbon is not broken, it
may be routed incorrectly.
3. The ribbon is not installed.
This is a user help message.
The printer senses a ribbon, but
the Print Mode is set for Direct
printing, where no ribbon is
required.

1. Reattach the ribbon to the
ribbon take-up spindle.
2. Check the ribbon loading
instructions and reload the
ribbon.
3. Install the ribbon.
4. Inspect the intermediate
and final ribbon drive gears
for correct engagement and
broken teeth. Replace any
gear that is damaged.
Remove the ribbon from the
printer if Direct Thermal media
is to be used. Change the Print
Mode from Direct to Transfer if
Thermal Transfer printing is to
be used (ribbon required).
