Explanation
The file system was not
detected. The flash memory
was corrupted or the Flash
SIMM was removed.
Problem writing to flash
memory.
The program file was not
downloaded successfully.
Serial framing error over a serial
interface.
List Of Messages
Solution
1. Install the Flash SIMM that
was removed.
2. Enter the PRINTER
CONTROL menu and use
the Optimize & Reboot
feature. (See "PRINTER
CONTROL Menu" on
page 127.)
1. Reseat Flash SIMM at J38.
2. If the message reappears,
replace the Flash SIMM.
3. If the message reappears,
replace the controller
PCBA. Write down the
message and return it with
the defective board.
1. Download the program file
again.
2. If the message reappears,
replace the Flash SIMM.
3. If the message reappears,
replace the controller
PCBA. Write down the
message and return it with
the defective board.
Match the serial interface
settings of the printer to those of
the host computer.
