events (retry as required):
1. TESTING HARDWARE
PLEASE WAIT appears on
display.
2. DIAGNOSTICS PASSED
appears on display.
3. LOADING FONTS FROM
FLASH appears on display.
4. Printer goes ONLINE or
OFFLINE, depending on
user's configuration.
Did steps 1 through 4 occur? YES
NO
Is the control panel display
backlit?
NO
Go to Printer fails to turn
on, the display is not
backlit, and the fan is not
running, page 202.
