modifier here turns scrolling off, and the entire
-s
configuration of the unit is dumped to the screen.
Saving the Configuration
Select all the configuration information and copy it. Open a text
file application (such as Notepad) and paste the data into a blank
file. Save this information. Alternatively, close "Log to File" in
HyperTerminal before you run
A configuration file, to avoid confusion, should only be pasted
into a unit that has been returned to its default configuration using
the defcon verb (page 17-11).
BCC allows you to batch commands into a unit without them
being actioned one line at a time. This is an easier way to load
saved configurations into a unit. Two verbs are used with the
batch options,
batch
batch mode and send the new configuration to the unit.
To turn batch mode on, at any prompt type the following:

commands entered are ignored until the

copy the data into memory (Edit > Copy).
Return to BCC and paste the information at the prompt. once all
the data is entered, type the following:
