Specifies the time in seconds after which a CHAP
challenge will be made by the unit. The time entered
here represents the amount of time after which a CHAP
challenge may be sent to a remote unit on active PPP
connections.

With this option enabled, when the threshold limits are
reached for a path (see page 4-17), MPPP will bring up a
second link for additional bandwidth.

sequence numbers.
Short sequence numbers allow more data to be carried
per packet than long sequence numbers. This option is
useful when using long delay links, for example satellite
