Bootmode
bootmode
BOOTMODE will erase the current software and return
the user of the system to a state known as boot mode.
Boot mode allows the user to load new software into the
unit.
Warning:
This command is dangerous. If bootmode is
executed, the router is not functional until new code is
downloaded. Be sure you have the means to download new
router code before you run this command.
If BOOTMODE is typed at the BCC prompt, the user
will be prompted to confirm the action. Answering
to this question will carry out the BOOTMODE
