PPTP: Associate the specified MSN to the
destination address (refer to the DEST attribute on
page
10-18). This will allow the unit to originate a
Point to Point Tunnelling Protocol (PPTP) tunnel
and terminate the tunnel at the specified destination
address.
The Digital option is designed specifically for areas
where data calls have higher tariffs than voice calls.
Using this option it is possible to use the cheaper voice
tariff to provide a normal data service.
To set up data over voice for outgoing calls, use the V
modifier when entering the ISDN Number onto the path
(page 4-15). For incoming data over voice, create an
MSN with the service attribute set to digital.
PPTP should be selected to specify this MSN as the
originator of a PPTP tunnel. For more information on
PPTP, refer to page 1-21.
