A valid time in seconds from 0 to 4294967
Specifies atime value for the Link Control Protocol
(LCP)
This option works in conjunction with the
parameter. Enter a time value in seconds. The value
represents the number of seconds after which LCP will
attempt to re-establish a connection with a remote unit if
a response has been lost.
Echo-Timeout
6 seconds
A time in seconds from 0 to 4294967
Specifies the time in seconds after which the LCP will
attempt to re-establish a connection if no response has
been received from the remote unit.
This option works in conjunction with the
Restart-Timeout
attribute. LCP echos are sent every six
seconds to ensure that the PPP link is still 'alive'. If no
echo response is received after three attempts, the link is
marked as down.
Enter a time value in seconds.
