VOI
The Nautica 200 comes with two telephone (POTS)
ports; these are labelled on the back of the Nautica unit
as 1 and 2. The Nautica CLAM has one POTS port as an
option (not standard).
BRI
This is the ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) module that
connects your unit into the ISDN. This device can be
edited.
ISDN
This device represents the ISDN channels attached to the
BRI/PRI devices.
WAN
This is the port connecting to the Wide Area Network
(WAN). Editing the mode in this device enables extra
functionality, for example the creation of Permanent
Virtual Circuits (PVC) and the ability to attach
asynchronous devices to the port, such as external
modems.
PRI
This is the ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI) module
that connects your unit into the ISDN. This device can
be edited.
PVC
Permanent Virtual circuits (PVCs) are automatically
created when the WAN mode is changed to frame relay.
