Saving Configuration Information to a File

There are times when you need to load the configuration from one
Nautica router into another router.
Caution:
The unit that is to receive the new configuration
should be returned to its default state by using the
(page 17-11) before any new configuration information is
loaded.
The configuration of the unit that contains the information to be
copied, needs to be first downloaded to a text file. This is done by
displaying the entire configuration for the unit, while logging it
into a text file using your terminal emulation.
If you are using a Telnet program that supports the copy and paste
facilities, all you need do is list the configuration as explained in
the next section and then copying the required information.
Defcon the unit (page 17-11), and then paste the configuration
back into the unit.

Showing the Configuration

At any prompt, the
entire configuration of the unit onto the screen. This is the
information that needs to be copied. For more information on the
SHow verb, refer to page 17-25.
There is a problem, however, with using the
without any modifiers causes the unit to display the configuration
one page at a time. While the data can be copied this way, it is
very tedious.
To show all the configuration directly to the screen, type the
following at any prompt:
