Win32s You need to install Win32s (version 1.30.166.0 or later) with Microsoft Windows and Windows for Workgroups before you can install Quick2Config Annex.

If the program discovers a previous version of NA, it opens a dialog box to give you a choice between overwriting the existing version or installing the software in a separate directory (Figure 2-4).

    Chapter 5 Configuration Examples Accessing the Annex The first step in configuring the Annex ports is to add the Annex: Open Quick2Config Annex. Choose File > Add Annex. Quick2Config Annex opens a dialog box for identifying the Annex, and specifying timeout and retry settings (Figure 5-1).

    Chapter 5 Configuration Examples Once you have confirmed modem operation in autodetect mode, the example shows how to set up the modem for PPP operation. Setting Type and Direction To select the modem type and specify direction: Click on Port 2. Quick2Config Annex displays the General Tab so you can identify the port type.
