This chapter provide instructions for attaching an expansion pod to an XLS-812300. Each
expansion pod provides storage for an additional 120 cartridges.

• T20 Torx driver
• 5/32-inch Allen wrench
• Right expansion pod: 1/4-inch Allen wrench
• Left expansion pod: 5/16-inch Allen wrench (included in the accessory box)
• Wire cutters or scissors

Installing an Expansion Pod
For instructions for attaching an expansion pod after
the XLS-812300 has been powered on and configured,
refer to the XLS Library Technical Service Manual.

Remove the side panels from the

Install the expansion pod mounting
hardware
Remove the X-axis hard stop
Attach the expansion pod to the
XLS-812300
Reinstall the rear side panel
