Creating a New vADC

There are two options for creating vADCs:
Creating a Basic vADC with the Creation Dialog, page 420
Creating a vADC Using the vADC Menu, page 423

For the purposes of illustration, the example procedures in this section illustrate a vADC created for
a new Marketing Portal, which includes the following configuration:
The new vADC is set with four VLANs.
Only one VLAN is limited for a specific subnet (in the example, 100), while VLANs 101, 102, and
200 can use any IP subnet as required by the vADC Administrator.

Alteon Application Switch Operating System Application Guide
Description
Each chart displays a set of sampled data collected across a period of up
to a month. You can change the view based on set time periods in the
context of the chart.
Options:
Real Time
1 Hour
1 Day
Default: Real Time
You can create a customized chart that only displays selected vADCs.
Options:
Add vADCs to the chart
Remove vADCs from the chart
By default, 10 vADCs are displayed. You can optionally select specific
vADCs to display.
Default Mode: Display the first 10 vADCs created
