    4 Safety Before any activities are performed please verify that the device power cable is disconnected. No maintenance should be performed while device is connected to electric current. Any person handling the devices should wear ESD protection (wrist strap or ankle strap, etc.). Table or any other surface that the device is placed upon, should be ESD protected (table top cover and button).

    5 Instructions 5.1 Disassembly and Opening the Device 5.1.1. Place the device on a firm clean surface. It is recommended that the table surface is covered by padding material (to avoid damage to the device's paint).
  • Page 8 5.1.2. Using the screwdriver, remove the 2 screws from the top, holding the device cover in place.

  • Page 11 5.1.4. Repeat the same action (removal of 3 screws) on the left side of the device. 5.1.5. After removal of 2 screws from the top and 3 screws from each side (total of 8 screws), slide the top cover backwards.
  • Page 12 5.1.6. After the cover was pushed back over 10 cm, pull the cover up and remove it from the device.

    5.2 Installation of Compression Card and Assembly 5.2.1. Locate the compression card slot.
  • Page 14 5.2.2. A close-up from the rear shows that the lower slot is taken by another card. This means that the compression card will be installed in the top slot. 5.2.3. Remove the card from its package and insert the card into the slot. Verify that the shape of the connector matches the shape of the socket.
  • Page 15 5.2.4. Push the card until the connector is fully inserted into the socket and the bracket connected to the card touches the vertical bracket connected to the chassis. 5.2.5. Use your finger to gently align the screw holes on both brackets.
  • Page 16 5.2.6. Use a screwdriver and one of the screws provided in the kit to connect both brackets and secure the card in its place.
  • Page 17 5.2.7. Place the cover on top of the device. About 5 cm of the cover should be placed behind the device (so the cover can slide into place). 5.2.8. Slide the cover forward until it is locked in place.
