4000 feet (1219.20 meters).

As shown in Figure 5.2, to connect a Shark® 200 meter to a PC, you need to use an
RS485 to RS232 converter, such as EIG's Unicom 2500. See 5.1.2.1: Using the
Unicom 2500 on page 5-5, for additional information.
