Setting the Telephone Line Type

In order to operate your unit, you must know if your unit is connected to
a tone or rotary pulse line. If you are not sure of the type of telephone
line you have, check with your local telephone company, and if you need
to change the factory default telephone line setting*, follow the procedure
below.
Data Registration
1. Press Data Registration.

* The factory default setting is ROTARY PULSE for all countries except the UK
and Singapore. The factory default setting for the UK and Singapore is TOUCH
TONE.
