the one-touch speed dialling button assigned to the number you
wish to send a document to.

If you have set a transmission time(s) for the one-touch speed dialling
button you pressed, the document will be scanned into memory, but will
not be sent until the closest preset time is reached.

Speed Dialling
Close all one-touch speed dialling panels to access buttons
1 to 28. Open the first panel to access buttons 29 to 56, and the
second panel to access buttons 57 to 84.

If you press the wrong one-touch speed dialling button, press
Clear, then press the correct button.
The unit will automatically begin scanning the document into
memory five seconds after pressing the button. If you want
the unit to begin scanning without this delay, press Start to
scan immediately. (If you prefer the unit never to scan a
document automatically after five seconds, you can turn this
feature off.) (1 TIME OUT p. 14-18)
You will see a series of brief, alternating messages that tell you
the unit is scanning the document, and the fax number it is
sending to. The In Use/Memory lamp blinks to show that the
unit is sending.
