You cannot set a sender's name in manual sending mode. The name you
registered under UNIT NAME (1 p. 2-24) will be automatically selected.
Document Stamp Feature
The stamp feature of your unit allows you to stamp the front lower
section of every page you scan for sending using the Automatic
Document Feeder (ADF). This allows you to check whether or not all
documents have been sent or scanned into the memory.

The stamp feature does not stamp documents you scan for sending
using the platen glass or documents you copy.
You can select whether or not the unit stamps documents you scan
for manual, direct, and memory sending, or only documents you
scan for direct and manual sending. (1 p. 4-13)
