If you selected 02 TX TYPE in step 5 (on p. 3-30):
The TX TYPE setting allows you to set the transmission type when
sending using the coded speed dialling code you are registering.

01 REGULAR TX
Designates the transaction as a normal transmission with no special
features. You can cancel the currently set TX TYPE by selecting
REGULAR TX. (To set this setting 1 p. 3-33)
02 CONFIDENTIAL TX
Designates the transaction as a transmission to a confidential mailbox.
(For details on the confidential sending feature 1 p. 8-22) You can also
specify a password and subaddress for the other party's confidential
mailbox. (To set this setting 1 p. 3-33)
03 ORIG RELAY TX
Designates the transaction as a relay transmission with your unit as the
originator. (For details on the relay transmission feature 1 p. 7-2) You can
also specify a password and subaddress for the relay broadcast.

04 SUBADDRESS TX
Allows you to enter an ITU-T password and subaddress for the
transmission. (For details on the password/subaddress feature
1 p. 4-58) (To set this setting 1 p. 3-33)
05 POLLING RX
Allows you to set the button you are registering to poll another fax unit
every time you use it to dial. (For details on the polling feature
1 p. 9-2) You can also specify a password and subaddress for polling
receiving. (To set this setting 1 p. 3-33)

Only one feature can be set for the TX TYPE setting. The next time you
open the TX TYPE menu to change the setting, you will see the currently
set item selected first. If you wish to cancel a TX TYPE setting, select
01 REGULAR TX.
