If the unit's memory becomes full while you are scanning a
document for sending, MEMORY FULL will appear in the LCD
display and the pages you have scanned up to that point will be
deleted. The number of pages you can scan into memory depends on
the amount of free memory remaining in the unit and the type of
document you plan to scan.
While the unit is scanning a document, do not place anything near
the document size detection sensor on the Automatic Document
Feeder (ADF). Doing so may cause the unit to detect the wrong
document size.
You can scan up to 70 different documents for memory sending.
When the document is sent, it is automatically deleted from memory.
When an error occurs during sending, the document is automatically
deleted from memory, even if it is not sent completely. If you would
not like the document to be deleted from memory when an error
occurs, you can set the unit not to do so. (1 ERASE FAILED TX
p. 14-18)
Once the document is scanned into memory, you can make copies
even while the unit is sending the document. Press the COPY button
to switch to copy mode.

The document is scanned into memory and then sent to the
destination(s) you dialled.
The LCD displays the number of the page it is scanning. It also
displays a TX/RX number for that transmission which is then
used to trace the document if you decide to delete it or print it
once it is stored in memory.
To cancel the transmission, press Stop. The LCD display then
asks you to confirm cancelling. Select F3 (YES) to cancel.
