Be sure to select a document size other than SHEET. You will not be
able to send from the platen glass if SHEET is selected.
When sending A4-size document, be sure to set the document
horizontally on the platen glass (A4x) and select A4x in step 3.
If set vertically (z), the unit will reduce the document.

Press Set to register the document size you selected.

Sending Documents
If you do not press Set within three seconds of selecting the
document size, your selection will automatically be set
without you having to press Set.
Use one of the dialling methods described on page 4-21.

If you enter the wrong number, press Clear, then enter the
correct number.
If you want to send the same document to several
destinations, you can enter more than one fax number. For
details, see "Sequential Broadcasting to More than One
Location". (1 p. 4-47)
You can set the sender's name with the TTI Selector.

If you used speed dialling to dial the number, the unit will
automatically begin scanning the document into memory five
seconds after pressing the button. If you want the unit to begin
scanning without this delay, press Start to scan immediately.
(If you prefer the unit not to scan a document automatically
after five seconds, you can turn this feature off.)
