Summary of Menus

Here is a summary of the menus.
A menu system, accessed with the Data Registration button, allows you
to register important information and set up different features. Here we
will give a brief overview of these menus and then describe how to
access each one individually.

USER SETTINGS

The settings in this menu include date and time setup, registration of
the sender information printed at the top of every page you send, and
other important settings that control the operating environment of
your unit. Adjust the settings in this menu when you set up your unit
for the first time. You will rarely need to change them thereafter.
(1 p. 14-11)
REPORT SETTINGS
The settings under this menu allow you to select different options for
printing transmission and activity reports. For example, you can
select which transmission report you want printed automatically, and
how you want it to be printed out. Reports allow you to keep track of
transmission procedures performed with your unit. (1 p. 14-15)
TX (Sending) SETTINGS
Use these settings to customise how the unit sends documents. With
these settings you can turn ECM on and off, set the pause time, and
set up redialling and other features. (1 p. 14-17)
RX (Receiving) SETTINGS
Use these settings to customise how the unit receives documents.
These settings are important because they determine how the unit
operates when it receives a document. (1 p. 14-19)
PRINTER SETTINGS
Use these settings to set how the unit prints documents you receive.
These features include specifying a cassette for paper supply,
specifying a paper size for the stack bypass, reducing the size of
received documents, and selecting the printing order. (1 p. 14-21)
