Scanned Area of a Document (Faxing)
When faxing a document from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or
platen glass, the scanning range for the document is slightly smaller than
the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or platen glass. The diagonal
lines in the diagrams below represent the image or text area that falls
outside the scanning area.
Before sending a document, make sure the document margins are wider
than the margins shown below.
