Receiving a Document in Memory When the
Toner or Paper Runs Out
If the paper or toner runs out while you are receiving a document, the
unit will automatically store the unprinted pages of the document in
memory and display the following messages.
Unit has run out of paper
The unit has run out of paper while printing or copying a document.
RESOLUTION
Open the paper cassette and add paper. As soon as you refill the paper
cassette and close it, the unit returns to standby mode and the remainder
of the document in memory will be printed automatically.
Toner cartridge has run out of toner
The toner cartridge has run out of toner while printing or copying a
document.
RESOLUTION
Replace the toner cartridge (1 Chapter 6 of the Copier User's Guide). As
soon as you replace the cartridge, the unit returns to standby mode and
the remainder of the document in memory will be printed automatically.
