Turning Memory Lock On

Follow this procedure to set the unit to memory lock mode if the memory
lock mode timer has not been set (1 p. 6-2) or if you want to set the unit
to memory lock mode outside the times you have specified for the timer.

If the timer is set for memory lock mode, the unit will enter and leave
memory lock mode automatically.
The Memory Reception button cannot be used if the MEMORY
LOCK RX setting is set to OFF. (1 p. 14-33)

Press FAX to switch to fax mode.

Open all three one-touch speed dialling panels, then press
Memory Reception.

If you have set a password (1 p. 6-6), use the numeric keypad
to enter the four-digit password, then press Set. To protect
your password, it will not be shown in the LCD display when
you enter it
When memory lock is on, the LCD display shows the
following message:
AUTO RX
MEMORY LOCK RX
=
STANDARD
STANDARD
DENSITY
The unit is now in memory lock mode. All documents will be
received in memory until you unlock memory receiving and
print them. See page 6-11 for these instructions.
