If you have set a transmission time for the one-touch speed dialling
button or coded speed dialling code you pressed, the document will be
scanned into memory, but will not be sent until the closest preset time is
reached. (1 TX TIME SETTING p. 3-46)
Here are some important points you should keep in mind when using
group dialling:
The unit will not dial the numbers registered for group dialling until
you set the document on the unit for sending. If you press a one-
touch speed dialling button or press the Coded Dial button and enter
the code before you load the document, the unit will prompt you:
RESOLUTION
If you pressed a one-touch speed dialling button or Coded Dial and
entered a code where no number has been registered, the unit tells
you:
RESOLUTION
If you want to cancel the transmission after you enter the one-touch
speed dialling button or coded speed dialling code, press the Stop
button. (1 p. 2-5)
You can use speed dialling when you come to a step in any procedure
where you have to dial a number.
Chapter 3
You will see a series of brief, alternating messages that tell you
the unit is scanning the document, and the destination is a
sequential broadcast. The In Use/Memory lamp blinks to
show that the unit is sending.
