has run out.
RESOLUTION
You can set the unit not to store documents in memory if the paper or
toner runs out. You can also set the unit alarm to alert you when the
unit receives a document in memory. (1 MEMORY RX p. 14-20)
As each page is printed, it is deleted from the memory.
If the memory becomes full, you will not be able to receive the
remaining pages. Contact the other party and request that the
document be sent again.
The unit can store up to 64 pages* in memory. With the optional 8 MB
memory kit, the unit can store up to 576 pages*.
A memory backup function is provided to save the contents of the
memory for up to approximately three hours during a power cut.
The document may not print from memory if the size of the paper
you load differs from that of the document in memory (1 SELECT
CASSETTE p. 14-22). To print the document in memory on a
different size paper, press the FAX button to switch to fax mode, then
press the Start button. When PRINT DIFFERENT PAPER SIZE
appears in the LCD display (1 p. 13-8), select YES.
If REPLACE CARTRIDGE appears in the LCD display and you do
not have a new toner cartridge available at that moment, you can
change the TONER SUPPLY LOW setting (1 p. 14-23) to continue
printing (KEEP PRINTING). You will be able to continue printing for
a short time.
