Fabric OS Commands
To change the password for the Admin user using V4.1.x:
switch:admin> passwd "admin"
Changing password for admin
Enter new password:
Re-type new password:
Password changed.
Saving password to stable storage.
Password saved to stable storage successfully.
switch:admin>
Errors
When failures are detected, the subtest may report one or more of the following
error messages:
"user" is not a valid
user name.
Permission denied.
That user name is already
being used. (V3.1.x only)
Incorrect password.
Password unchanged.
Passwords do not match.

You have not specified a user name that is a valid, recognized
user name on the system.
You do not have permission to change the login name or
password specified.
You cannot change the user name to that of a previously
existing user.
You have not entered the correct password when prompted for
the old password.
You have entered the carriage return special input case,
choosing not to change the password.
You have not correctly verified the new password.
