Using an extension bar and hammer, remove the 4 collars.

REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SUB–ASSEMBLY
Using an extension bar and hammer, remove the control
shaft.
Remove the shift lever sub–assembly.
DISASSEMBLE SHIFT LEVER SUB–ASSEMBLY
Remove the Detent roller holder.
Remove the Compression spring.
REMOVE COLLARS
