INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between terminal
NEO of ABS & BA & TRC & VSC ECU and terminal NEO of Engine and ECT ECU
(A/T) or Engine ECU (M/T) (See page IN–30).

2 Check voltage between terminal NEO of ABS & BA & TRC & VSC ECU and body
ground.

PREPARATION:

(a) Remove ABS & BA & TRC & VSC ECU with connectors
still connected.
(b) Turn ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminal NEO of ABS & BA & TRC
& VSC ECU and body ground for the engine conditions below.
OK:

– ABS WITH EBD & BA & TRC & VSC SYSTEM
Repair or replace harness and connector.
Engine condition
OFF (IG ON)
ON (Idling)
3 – 6 V
Below 1 V
Voltage
3 – 6 V or below 1 V
