1 Click the Debug tab of the Main SmarTest menu.
2 Click the Histogram icon.
3 Select the data source - choose offline or online data.
Off -Line Data
a Click on the Open button in the top left corner of the screen.
b You must select one of the three data format types according to
the type of data in your file:
· Raw Data
· GDF
· EDF
c When you click on the desired data format type, a file browser
window will appear to help you to find the required data file.
d Click on Open when you have selected the file. Alternatively you
can enter the file name and absolute path directly into the field
at the bottom of the browser before clicking on Open.
e Ensure that the data file which you select agrees with the data
type already specified, otherwise an error message will be
displayed.

The histogram tool will now load the data into its memory and
display a graph according to the settings made.
On-Line Data
a Select Options at the top of the screen.
b Click Online.
c Select how often you require the display to be updated. Click
when you have entered a number. If you enter 1 (update after
each test) you will get an error message after the first cycle to say
that there is not enough data to calculate the statistics.
d You are now ready to use the on- line data. Ensure that the tester
is correctly configured to start testing and then click on the
button at the top of the screen.
e Now execute the test program or testflow.
f An error message can occur after the first measurement because
at this time there are not enough values in the histogram tool
memory to generate statistical results. Click on
continue.
g When you have gathered the data needed, click on
top of the screen.
